Production
What materials do you use?
We mainly use high-quality PLA, a biodegradable and durable filament ideal for decorative and functional prints. For specific requests, we can also produce with advanced technical materials such as PETG, ASA, or carbon-fiber blends.
Is production safe and sustainable?
Yes. All our production processes are safe, clean, and energy-efficient. Our 3D printing farm is powered by solar panels installed at our headquarters in Switzerland.
Are your products food-safe?
No. Although we use premium materials, our products are not certified for direct food contact.
How long does production take?
Standard production takes 2 to 5 business days. Larger or highly customized orders may require additional time.
Are minor defects or color variations considered normal?
Yes. Since each piece is 3D printed individually, small surface imperfections or slight color differences may occur due to filament characteristics and printing variations. These are not considered defects but a natural result of the handmade process.
Product Care
How should I care for my 3D printed products?
Avoid exposing your PLA objects to direct sunlight or high temperatures, as PLA may soften above 60 °C.
How can I clean my 3D printed items?
Clean gently with a soft cloth and mild soap. Do not use alcohol or strong solvents.
Can I paint or finish my 3D prints?
Yes, PLA can be easily painted or finished. For best results, lightly sand the surface and use acrylic paints or primer designed for plastics.
Shipping & Returns
How do you ship your products?
All shipments are handled via Swiss Post, ensuring reliable national delivery.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, international delivery can be arranged upon request. Please contact us at info@hexamanufacturing.ch for a custom quote.
How long does delivery take?
Once production is complete, delivery within Switzerland usually takes 2–3 business days.
What happens if my package is damaged during transport?
We take great care in packaging, but we cannot be held responsible for damage caused by the courier. Please contact us immediately if this occurs.
Do you accept returns?
We accept returns only for major defects. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
Can I exchange my product?
No. Because each order is made to specification, exchanges are not available.
How do I request a return for a defective item?
If your product has a major defect, please email us at info@hexamanufacturing.ch including clear photos of the issue. Once the defect is confirmed, we’ll arrange a refund within 10 business days.
Customization
Can I request a custom color or size?
Yes. Most of our products can be customized in both size and color according to your preference.
Can you print my own 3D model?
Absolutely. Send us your 3D file or idea, and we’ll provide a quote for production.
Do you work with advanced technical materials?
Yes, we also print with engineering-grade filaments suitable for functional or industrial applications.
